2. Re: JavaScript Error When Dragging Over SELECT
apptaro Feb 29, 2008 4:14 AM (in response to apptaro)Just to clarify, I don't need to drop on the select.
I use dragSupport/dropSupport and selectOneMenu on the same page,
so when I drag things, the cursor occasionally gets over the select and JavaScript error occurs.
I just want this error not to happen. -

4. Re: JavaScript Error When Dragging Over SELECT
apptaro Mar 2, 2008 10:42 PM (in response to apptaro)No, error occurs without using prototype.js.
Only the above code is sufficient to reproduce the issue.
This probably is a bug, but I found I can workaround it, by defining a dragIndicator.
<h:selectOneMenu>
<f:selectItem itemValue="option"/>
</h:selectOneMenu>
<rich:dragIndicator id="indicator"/>
<a4j:outputPanel>
<rich:dragSupport dragType="myType" dragIndicator="indicator">
<rich:dndParam name="label"><h:outputText value="DRAGME"/></rich:dndParam>
</rich:dragSupport>
<h:outputText value="DRAGME"/>
</a4j:outputPanel>
This code does not product JavaScript error.
