why can't create virtual directory with jboss4

I add the following line to the embed tomcat5's server.xml

but when I start jboss, it threw many exceptions, say that Class org.apache.commons.logging.impl.Log4JLogger does not implement Log!
What's wrong? pls help me and thank you!
