1. Re: Mutual authentication with JBOSS (CLIENT-CERT configuart
starksm64 May 8, 2005 9:50 PM (in response to huntethan)See the following wiki page:
http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SSLSetup
There is a testsuite example that shows the setup as well so you can download the source and look at the testsuite ssl test config. -

huntethan May 10, 2005 1:17 PM (in response to huntethan)I've seen this site before, but the problem is when I do what is written on this site client authentication doesn't works. When I set clientAuth="true" my Browser doesn't ask me for client certificate.
I know from Sun Java App Server (when enabling mutual authentication) that a popup window appears and asks for the client certificate. In this window client user can choose which certificate he want to use for this site. After that the server show its certificate and when the client user accepts the servers certificate the connection is established.
Is there the possibilty to realize the same with JBoss? -

huntethan May 11, 2005 7:57 AM (in response to huntethan)Can I somewhere download your JBoss configuration? I think it works when I download it and replace my JBoss with yours (but I need version 4.x (AOP)). I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
thanks -
5. Re: Mutual authentication with JBOSS (CLIENT-CERT configuart
starksm64 May 11, 2005 11:33 AM (in response to huntethan)The config is in the testsuite. Download the source release, build it, build the testsuite and run the tomcat-ssl target. This creates a tomcat-ssl server configuration that has client cert enabled.

huntethan May 12, 2005 8:51 AM (in response to huntethan)I've downloaded the source file jboss-4.0.2.tar.bz2 and extracted it. Then I've ececuted the file build.bat in the folder build. The build was succesfull after 4 minutes calculating. What I've to do now? I've tried to execute the file build.bat in the testsuite folder, but build failed (...\testsuite\build.xml:290: Compile failed; see the compiler error output for details).
And what do you mean with run tomcat-ssl? Excuse I'm very new to JBoss and I realy don't know what to do. Please help me.
thanks
