I would like to know if it is possible to do load balancing between apache+mod_jk and 2 clustered Tomcat/jboss using an hardware load-balancer (like alteon). Is it possible to use sticky sessions with ajpv13 in this configuration and how?.
I know that you can do load balancing using mod_jk (and it works pretty well) but i would like to do exactly the same using an altéon between the apache server and the tomcat server.
apache2+mod_jk1.2.6 <---> load balancer <---> 2 X Tomcat+jboss 4.02 in cluster
