Jboss Debug Mode

I'm having some problems on remote debuging with eclipse, my server with Fedora don't respond to debug connection.... I just defined the JAVA_OPTS variable...
So, to start Jboss on debug mode I have just to set the JAVA_OPTS environment variable? or I have to change the run.sh script?

One of the first things the run.sh script does is output the JAVA_OPTS being used to start JBoss.

Have a look in run.conf, the JAVA_OPTS for remote debugging is commented out.
