How do you abort the startup process?

Does anyone know of a configuration or technique to abort the startup process in the case when one of your registered mbean classes fails its startup? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Same question. Is there a particular config I can set or a particular exception I can throw to abort the startup?

I would like the server to shutdown if the MBean fails to start.

The easiest would be to create an MBean that did a check of the service deployer at some point for any failed deployments, then call the shutdown MBean.

Otherwise, you could contribute some sort of patch for JBoss to do this.
