Installing JBoss on Linux

Hi All,

I am very new to Linux and JBoss.
I installed JBoss on Remote Linux Box.I am starting the server from my local machine.

After connecting to remote Linux Box and starting the server Iam getting console .As I closed this console the server stops.I want server to run on remote machine even if I close the console on my machine.

I will appriciate any help.

an easy way to solve this is adding a "&" next to the command that you are using to start jboss,
like:
$JBOSS_HOME/bin/run.sh &


this will start jboss in background.

Checkout nohup and linux services configuration via /etc/init.d

or use screen as a quick (&dirty) solution
