Recompiling jsp without redeployment...

Hi,

I am new to JBoss..I was wondering if there is any way to modify the jsp in the war without redeploying the application.In tomcat,i remember we have teh webapps folder,i used to chnage the jsp and never had to restart the server for a jsp change.

Can we do something like that in JBOSS also..But i dont; see any folder where it actually extracts teh war/ear content.

Any help is appreciated.

If your war file is exploded then any changes to the jsp will NOT require a restart of the server.

Let me also add that if you just change the jsp file in a exploded war, you dont even have to touch the web.xml file for redeploying the application. The next time you use the jsp, the latest changes will be available to you. So it's as simple as making changes to the jsp(in the exploded war) and start seeing the changes you made.
