problem installing jboss from jboss-4.0.4.GA-src.tar

I downloaded the jboss-4.0.4.GA-src.tar and then extracted it to a directory. But I can't find any folder like bin,lib etc under the main directory.I found a bin directory in /jbossdir/system/src/bin that contains files like run.sh.

When I run that script it gives error like:
...file run.jar missing...

Clicking the "run installer" link in the jboss download page did nothing
except downloadin a file ...installer.jnlp

How can I install jboss.Should I download some other file or other type of jboss distribution.

You downloaded the source files. The binary files are in a zip file. Or, if yoyr have Ant and the 5.0 JDK (or even 1.4.2), you can go to the build directory and run the build.sh script. The binary version then appears in build/output

Oops, I forgot, you don't need Ant, it comes with JBoss. All you need is the JDK. Also, the build takes about 8 to 10 minutes.
