peterj Aug 29, 2006 2:17 PM (in response to hboss1)Since the typical way of installing JBoss is to unzip a zip file into your directory of choice or to run the installer jar which does about the same thing, the only way to find our where and if JBoss is installed is to scan through the directories of all drives. I wrote some code that did this at one time.

peterj Aug 29, 2006 2:55 PM (in response to hboss1)I can't share the code because it is part of a proprietary product marketed by my company. I can tell you that it looked for key jar files, such as jboss.jar, and that the code was written in C#.
