It was great to see your interest into this issue. And I would appreciate it
if this thread could be used to exchange further bits of understanding
of the implementation of the scrollableDataTable.
I totally agree with you that the setting of the data does not correspond to the processing of the parameter <>:si in the request processing.
Perhaps the debugging of the JavaScript - code, especially the GridBody.js,
could be senseful?

Yes but I don't see any documentation to know the meaning of the four parameters parsed and specially the fourth one. Maybe the CLIENT_ROW_KEY should be initialized to a default value when none is provided (i.e. when the array.length < 4) ?
