Removing ejb3.deployer from 4.0.4GA

What do I need to do to remove ejb3.deployer from JBoss AS 4.0.4GA? It seems as though simply removing ejb3.deployer doesn't do the trick. Is there a documented dependency tree? I don't need EJB3 it and it's conflicting with my hibernate deployment in that I get the error "Attempt to restart an already started EhCacheProvider" when Hibernate loads from my EAR file.

I assume that you installed JBoss AS using the installer jar (because the binary zip file does not come with EJB3). Run the installer again choosing a configuration other than EJB3.

I am using a hosting service that installed this for me so I'm not sure that's an option. Is there a possibility of removing the EJB3 deployer after installation?
