Session expires @ every request with IE.... ;-(

I've just installed Jboss 4.0.5 on windows server 2003, jdk1.5
and my tomcat sessions expire at every request ... but only with IE ! And on all PCs and all IE versions..

I've checked the date.. no difference if the server is one minute ahead or behind...

any idea ? what can I investigate ?

Same problem with me!

Using IE 6 on Windows XP. 'httpSession.isNew()' gives back 'true' on any request without closing the browser or redeploying meanwhile. Did not get an answer to this topic in this forum yet.

OK, I've just found the problem !!
But don't ask me why :-))

my url was like that http://home_www.test.me

and I just removed the underscore "_", modifying my dns to http://homewww.test.me !

and it works fine now !

We have noticed that the URI.getHost() method returns a null if the hostname contains an underscore, which completely screws things up because the JBoss code does not expect a null to be returned. That is probably the same problem that bit you.
