Localhost to IP address(or hostname)

We have a JBoss application (we also use that as a webserver) installed on the localhost. So the URL looks like http://localhost:8080

Once we move it to Production, how do I bind this application to a IP address or a host name?

Just set your IP address on the machine, make sure the network cable is plugged onto the NIC card, and JBoss automagically detects and bind the ip address.
