running jboss as root

Hi all ,
Im running jboss 4.2.2GA with JMS 1.3GA ,
this server is not public open, it connect to a http server
on the same machine that stream the data it gets from JMS.
the server is behind a firewall that allow traffic only port 80 to it.
i'm having problems with JMS that crashes while runing as jboss user,
is it safe to run jboss as root user instead ?

It's a bad practise to run jboss as 'root'. You should try to fix the real problem instead.

Problem solved after upgrading to 1.4.0.SP1
and fixing bugs in the service
