      Hi

I can't find much resources about using jboss AS in production environment under windows - exactly: run as service or in console window? What is the most common practice? Prons and cons?

Run JBossAS as a service. This way, if the machine is ever restarted, JBossAS will start automatically. Also, then your IT administrators can use the typical Windows commands they are used to to start and stop the app server.
