3. Re: How to package log4j configuration
pdesj Mar 19, 2008 10:55 AM (in response to teknokrat)I'm trying to solve a similar problem with a WAR file. Can you point me to the documentation you referred to?
The EAR file doc looks like it might also be applicable to my situation but I'm interested in what you mentioned.
Thanks. -
4. Re: How to package log4j configuration
jaikiran Mar 21, 2008 7:24 AM (in response to teknokrat)Which version of JBoss? For JBoss-4.2.x, i guess this should work for a WAR file (similar to what is mentioned in the post that i pointed to, in my earlier reply):
myApp.war | |--- log4j.properties | |--- WEB-INF | | | |--- web.xml | | | |--- jboss-web.xml | |--- lib | | | |--- log4jxxx.jar
jboss-web.xml contents:<jboss-web> <class-loading java2ClassLoadingCompliance="false"> <loader-repository> org.myapp:loader=MyClassLoader <loader-repository-config>java2ParentDelegation=false</loader-repository-config> </loader-repository> </class-loading> </jboss-web>
Give it a try.
