shutdown -S
By configuration changes, I mean changing the jndi port or securing the jmx invoker.
Also, doing a CTRL-C in the window running jbossas acceptable mechanism to shut it down. JBossAS implements a shutdown listener and performs an orderly shutdown in this case. -

Wel,i wil start a JBoss server in a console1 and once it gets fully started and wil run a shutdown.bat file which wil open another console say console2.
Thru console2 by running shutdown file ,i m unable to stop Jboss server,,i hav added set ARGS=%ARGS% -S in the ":end" line of shutdown file but dint work.
So plz let me knw the solutions.!!! -

peterj May 19, 2008 11:18 AM (in response to uttam_lovesjava)Do this. Edit shutdown.bat to comment out the "echo off" statement on the first line. Open a command prompt. 'cd' to %jboss_home%\bin. Run: "shutdown -S". Post the output that appears.
