Not able to run Application on Jboss from remote machine

    myforum

      Hi,

I have Jboss 4.2.2 installed on fedora linux. i have deployed my application on it. and it works fine on linux machine. But when I try to access the same application from Window machine using http://IP:8080/..

It does not open page. I tried to bind server with -b 0.0.0.0 option but did not work out.

So please help me out in solving this problem.

      Thanks.

I tried to bind server with -b 0.0.0.0 option but did not work out.

Post the entire console logs when you start the server with the -b 0.0.0.0 option.

          It does not open page.

          What error do you see?

This shows that the -b 0.0.0.0 option is not being considered and instead its binding only to localhost. But you do seem to be passing the argument correctly:

              [root@localhost bin]# ./run.sh -b 0.0.0.0

I wasn't aware that there was a 1.7 version of Java available. Can you try using 1.5 Sun Java JDK and see if it works?

Can you please tell me where this binding exists in Linux file. I think If I will change IP add from 127.0.0.1 to local IP .. may be that will work out. So if you know please help me out.

                Thanks for your support.

There is no such file. The command line you are using is the correct way to do this. But your JVM is suspect - change it like jaikiran suggested.
