2. Re: CDK. How to Start Up.
pmuir Mar 17, 2007 1:06 PM (in response to sergeysmirnov)Here's feedback from starting to implement the Seam component library on the CDK
- How do I use .component.Abstract - if I create this class then run mvn cdk:create -D, it seems to ignore it?
- What mvn cdk: targets are available?
- Something like mvn cdk:delete -Dname= to clear out all the generated files for a component would be good
- Don't know if this is supposed to be JDK 1.4 compliant, but if not then using generics in RendererBase would be good
- Documentation for component config stuff

pmuir Mar 17, 2007 1:07 PM (in response to sergeysmirnov)Also, I think it would benefit the documentation to have a walk through of doing common tasks such as creating the component template, adding attributes to a component, implementing a custom renderer

5. Re: CDK. How to Start Up.
sergeysmirnov Mar 19, 2007 2:56 PM (in response to sergeysmirnov)Pete, according to your post you are on your way to move some seam components toward RichFaces. Actually, we have started this task already also. So, it might be a good idea to synchronize our efforts.
The goal of http://labs.jboss.com/wiki/UsingCDKStartUp is covering the configuration CDK issues. The Dev. Guide should be in the separate document. We are working on it right now. Probably, it is a good idea to put the early version to SVN ASAP. -
