CDK: license agreement and copyright statement in *.vm files

I'm wonder why the CDK puts the LGPL and (c) 2007 Exadel Inc. at the top of the generated files from the CDK? Surely if you are creating components then they aren't (c) exadel, and the license used for tooling libraries (which IMO is what a4j cdk is) isn't relevant to the license you distribute your software under. What I think would be great to have a field, perhaps in the pom, for the license you want to use (a bit like you can edit templates in your IDE)

I'm pretty clueless on licensing etc. so there is probably some great reason ;)
