1. Re: JBoss Applicationserver always in state starting
peterj Mar 9, 2009 5:18 PM (in response to tk1982)What version of Eclipse are you running? JBoss IDE is an old, and now defunct, product that has been replaced by JBoss Tools. I suggest that you install Eclipese 3.3 or 3.4 and load in the appropriate version of JBoss Tools.

jbossn00b Mar 10, 2009 2:05 AM (in response to tk1982)Hello,
I have just got this too with new versions!
OS: Linux/Debian Lenny
JDK: 1.5.0.17
Eclipse: 3.4.2 / JEE flavour
JBoss: 5.0.0, also tried with 5.0.1
JBoss/Seam Tools from the nightly build
I can start the JBoss server from the console but in the servers view it loops on "Starting.. synchronized" and then Eclipse says, "could not start JBoss Server".
How can I find out what's wrong her and fix it? -

jbossn00b Mar 10, 2009 2:46 AM (in response to tk1982)ok sorry the jboss was not starting at all. It was an arjuna error because of bad host file. I have fixed it and JBoss Server runs now and can be started from the servers view.
