Change the JBoss icon which appears in Browser

Hi there,

We are running a simple demo application on JBoss 4.05 and we would like to hide (or change) that icon which gets displayed onto the browser.

Please, where can we change it?

Try deleting the file server/xxx/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/ROOT.war/favicon.ico

I replaced it with the company's icon and it did the trick.

I was just wondering if we need to have a different icon for different application, would it be up to Jboss as well or should we (somehow) set it into each application?

Previously I had only set up an icon for Portal, so I did not know what could be done for individual web apps. A google search showed that you could add somthing like this to your html pages:

<link rel= “shortcut icon� href=�favicon.ico� />
