2. Re: developing custom components?
grimholtz Jun 1, 2007 2:30 PM (in response to kevcpu411)How about, for example, <s:selectManyPicklist/> in the Tomahawk Sandbox? It has two listboxes and two button to move items between the two listboxes. It would be nice to ajaxify the buttons so when you move an item left/right, an action can be called.

3. Re: developing custom components?
ilya_shaikovsky Jun 4, 2007 11:42 AM (in response to kevcpu411)In some cases a4j:support is the way. But in this case It seems you may use a4j:form with ajaxSubmit=true around the component with reRendering areas you need. look through examples for more info.

4. Re: developing custom components?
grimholtz Jun 4, 2007 5:55 PM (in response to kevcpu411)Thanks for the reply, Ilya. I am trying your suggestion and, no matter how I use a4j:form (even with normal JSF components, not custom ones), I get this error:
element has no properties at Line 12 in .../a4j.res/org/ajax4jsf/renderkit/html/scripts/form.js.faces A4J.setupForm=function(id){var element=window.document.getElementById(id);var name="click";if(element.addEventListener){element.addEventListener(name,A4J._observer,false);}else if(element.attachEvent){element.attachEvent('on'+name,A4J._observer);}}
Any suggestions?
thanks,
