Thank you very much for your reply. I am going through that.
For installation of JBOSS what i have done was very simple.
1) extraction of zip
2) setting JBOSS_HOME and JAVA_HOME
3) running run.sh file
Is this correct or anything more to do after that. Please let me know these configurations -

peterj Jun 17, 2009 11:52 AM (in response to sridhar1985)Your run command has a '&' at the end. After your start JBoss AS, do you close the terminal that your used to run it? If so, then JBoss AS will be brought down also. If that is the case, try using nohup:
nohup ./run.sh -c default -b 0.0.0.0 & -

peterj Jun 18, 2009 2:21 PM (in response to sridhar1985)Memory settings can be changed in bin/run.conf. You can also add the -Xrs option to that same line.

sridhar1985 Jun 19, 2009 12:36 AM (in response to sridhar1985)Hi Peter,
Thank you very much for your reply. I have changed run.conf file (increased the values to 512 and 1024). It is working ok. I will try -Xrs also.
Thanks once again....
