1. Re: Deplyoment failing in jboss-5.1.0.GA
wolfgangknauf Jul 1, 2009 8:21 AM (in response to xsubinx)Hi,
does your app contain Xerces related JARs? If yes: remove them, because JBoss already contains them.
If you cannot remove them, you might change the JBoss classloading: http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/ClassLoadingConfiguration
Hope this helps

xsubinx Jul 2, 2009 1:00 AM (in response to xsubinx)Hey thanks for the quick reply
I have xercesImpl-2.4.0.jar in my project, I removed that,but still the error remains, I will try to change the ClassLoadingConfiguration too. Between wouldyou let me know what are the jars related to xerces.
Thanks

wolfgangknauf Jul 2, 2009 4:11 AM (in response to xsubinx)Hi Subin,
you have a very old xerces version, I did not even find it in the archives of the xerces homepage ;-). So I cannot check what files it contains. Hopefully you have the xerces download package somewhere and can check what JARs it contains.
I found a 2.6.2 on my machine, and this contained xmlParserAPIs.jar, xml-apis.jar, xercesSamples.jar, xercesImpl.jar and resolver.jar. So all of those should be removed.
Best regards

wolfgangknauf Jul 2, 2009 4:12 AM (in response to xsubinx)By the way: recompile the project after removing the JARs. Maybe there are still references to the old stuff. Removing them only from the JAR/EAR might not be enough.

xsubinx Jul 6, 2009 5:44 AM (in response to xsubinx)Hi Wolfgang
I removed the following jars from MyWar.war\WEB-INF\lib\
xmlParserAPIs-2.6.2.jar
xml-apis-1.0.b2.jar
xercesImpl-2.4.0.jar
resolver-20050927.jar
and its working perfectly fine.
As an alternate solution .I also tried to isolate my application like this
WEB-INF/jboss-classloading.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<classloading xmlns="urn:jboss:classloading:1.0"
name="MyWar.war"
domain="localhost"
export-all="NON_EMPTY"
import-all="true">
Unfortunately but this is not working.

xmedeko Jul 9, 2009 4:02 AM (in response to xsubinx)And what about to set "java2ClassLoadingCompliance" attribute to true? Either in jboss-web.xml, see http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/ClassLoadingConfiguration or in the deployers/jbossweb.deployer/META-INF/war-deployers-jboss-beans.xml

7. Re: Deplyoment failing in jboss-5.1.0.GA
xmedeko Jul 9, 2009 1:44 PM (in response to xsubinx)I guess
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <classloading xmlns="urn:jboss:classloading:1.0" name="MyWar.war" domain="localhost" export-all="NON_EMPTY" import-all="true">
is the opposite what you want. Maybe you should try something like<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <classloading xmlns="urn:jboss:classloading:1.0" name="MyWar.war" domain="localhost" export-all="false" import-all="false">
Just my guess, try to play with that. -
8. Re: Deplyoment failing in jboss-5.1.0.GA
xsubinx Jul 13, 2009 5:03 AM (in response to xsubinx)No way , I tried all different combination.
Also export-all cannot be false.
It can be either ALL or NON_EMPTY
Thanks
