Hi. We've been experiencing the dreaded PermGen error using JBoss 4.2.3.GA and have heard that version 5.x resolves these. Is this true? Thanks.

Which exact PermGen error? Although users have complained about the PermGen error in these forums, i haven't seen many lately, specially with JBossAS-4.2.x. When do you see those errors and what JVM parameters do you use to start the server? Please provide more details including any exception stacktraces.
