javatwo Aug 6, 2009 1:02 PM (in response to javatwo)I am wondering if it is caused by JBoss. Without running Jboss, the computer works normally.

jaikiran Aug 8, 2009 7:08 AM (in response to javatwo)JBoss is just another java application. So if a java application is causing the system to shutdown then the right place to look at is the OS level (and its interaction with the JVM). If you happen to open a thread in the Fedora forums, please post a link to that thread here so that it would help others too.

4. Re: JBoss 5.1.0(JDK6) on Fedora Core 10, computer often shut
peterj Aug 10, 2009 11:34 AM (in response to javatwo)Is it an orderly shutdown or a crash? If an orderly shutdown, I would look into the apps you have deployed - someone can easily write an app that Runtime.exec's a script to shut the system down. If a crash, then I would suspect a bad driver, most likely a network driver or perhaps even the network card is bad.
