No load balancing from web to ejb, right?

Just to make sure:
As Jetty (or Tomcat) is inside the same VM as JBoss EJB container, there is NEVER load balancing from Jetty to JBoss EJB server, right?
This is something usually called collocation optimization, in some other products.

Am I right on this one?

Yes, exactly, this is by-design. If you don't want this behaviour, don't deploy your bean locally but only on other nodes (if it fits in your deployment-scheme)
