Accessing cluster across subnets

I've been trying to get clients on other subnets to
talk to a JBoss cluster but to no avail. It appears my
multicast isn't making it across. Has anyone else figured out the incantation? I'm running Solaris 2.8...

hello,

Either configure your routers to let specific mutlicast address flow accross your subnets or use a JavaGroups Gossip server (if I remember correctly).

Take a look at http://javagroups.sf.net/ There is a really nice documentation that describes how to deal with this.
