How to Tell JBOSS that RMI object is clusterable ?

Hello,

How do we tell JBOSS that a given RMI object is clusterable ? For example, under Weblogic, there is a -clusterable flag on rmic that generates clusterable stubs. What is the JBOSS equivelant ?

I have looked all over the place for the tag that you are talking about but could not find it. I found one for EJB's but not for RMI objects.

oh, I know what you mean. Well, there is no "rmic" pre-compilation step in JBoss.

In jboss 3.x, there is not way to do this through deployment descriptors. If you want to do this, you have to code it yourself using the HARMI code (see the doco). It is quite easy and will not require precompilation step or placing any generated code on the client side: only the JBoss client-JARs and your interfaces are required on the client-side.
