1. Re: HASessionStateService Failed.
slaboure Feb 6, 2003 12:21 PM (in response to bongosdude)Please:
- use 3.0.6
- correctly define HA-JNDI: it still looks for the DefaultPartition
- in the HASessionState config, don't prepend the /HAPartition name for the "PartitionName" attribute, just put "LMPartition"
Cheers,

2. Re: HASessionStateService Failed.
bongosdude Feb 10, 2003 1:38 PM (in response to bongosdude)can you post your cluster-service.xml and farm-service.xml. I am using 3.0.6 now. Or can you edit my attachement and point out where my mistake is.

slaboure Feb 11, 2003 6:42 AM (in response to bongosdude)2003-02-05 16:37:31,512 ERROR [org.jboss.ha.hasessionstate.server.HASessionStateService] Initialization failed
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: DefaultPartition not bound
Are you sure you are currently using the file you showed me? I've just tried to update the partition name of a fresh 3.0.6 release and it works well (except you have to remove jbossha-httpsession.sar from deploy then for a known reason. -
4. Re: HASessionStateService Failed.
bongosdude Feb 11, 2003 2:51 PM (in response to bongosdude)It works now. The only problem I have right now is farm-service. I have to manual deploy my ejb jar to both servers. I have not completely figured out how or why jboss farm-services (hot deployment) not working for me yet. At least, HASessionStateService correctly started and I can view HASessionStateService from jmx-console from both Jboss app servers.
Thanks, -
