Entity Cache Synchronization

I"m about to try and get clustering to work on 3.0.5. We are using CMP entity beans, some of which up to now were using commit option A.

I just read in the paid for docs that entity cache synchronization basically does not exist, i.e. that commit option B should be used.

Is this any different in 3.2.1? (Because that would be a great motivator for management to upgrade).

Also, is there any reason why I should expect 3.0.5 clustering to have issues? (I've read the list of clustering defect fixes with later releases, but I"ve not seen a "you must upgrade" post). That too, would be a motivator for management to upgrade.

in 3.2 you have the distributed cache invalidation framework that you can use depending on the semantic of your EJBs. it is explained in the doco or quickly in my article here:

As for 3.0.5, I really suggest to upgrade.
