jackpot Jul 6, 2003 8:35 AM (in response to jackpot)My goal is to fully customize the server. I dont want the server to listen on the ports, partitions, that are commonly used. Since we are having our own client software, which we can be modified to the effect, this can make it feel like we are having our own server.

slaboure Jul 7, 2003 2:12 AM (in response to jackpot)I suggest you take a look at the binding manager service (in JBOSS_HOME/docs/....) of the most recent 3.2.x releases, it is a way to centralize you ip/port config (or something else in an XML file without changing the other JBoss conf files. There is something about it in the new 3.2 doco.
