I have not been able to get clustering up and running on AIX. JBoss is doing fine without clustering.
The maschine has more than one IP so this is
specified several places in the cluster-service.xml file.
The log is telling the following:

Any idea how to get this working?

The problem was solved by setting the directive
-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true
