clustering with jboss3.2.3

i deployed a.ear in jboss3.2.3 clustered environment.
when i deploy the same jar in the standalone(single) machine on which jboss3.2.3 is running is not deploying .

what all the changes i have to do, so that same .ear file works on both the jboss3.2.3 setups.

Makes sense to have two different EARs. Non clustered EAR will work in a clustered env but not other way round.
This was till 3.0.4.
I dont know if there are any changes in the later veraions.
