i'm experiencing a problem, when i try to use the auto discovery feature on client side.
java.naming.provider.url is set to "". in this case the auto discovery feature is used (ip 230.0.0.4; port 1102).
i always get a SocketTimeoutException, because the multicast is sent with a ttl of 1 and is therefore not routed through the firewall.
does anyone other have this problem or does anybody know how to solve this issue?
