Do I understand this correctly?

Hi,

I'm new to JBoss clustering but am excited about the possibilities. I've read some documentation but am still a bit confused. My understanding is that setting up a simple cluster involves two things:

1. copy /server/all/deploy/cluster-service.xml to /server/default/deploy
2. add true to the bean definitions in jboss.xml

Is this correct? When I do this, JBoss complains about HASessionState not being available.

Apologies... that should of course be "add [clustered]true[/clustered] to my jboss.xml..."

Just start JBoss using the all configuration, everything should be configured correctly for you then.

Um.... how do I start JBoss with the "all" configuration? I've tried running, for example, "run.sh all", but I receive the following message:

run.sh: unused non-option argument: all

and JBoss appears to boot up in the default mode. I know this must be a very newbie question, thanks for taking the time to answer.

PS. You seem to be saying that [clustered]true[/clustered] is NOT required in the jboss.xml in 3.2.3. Is this correct? Thanks again.
