sergeysmirnov Mar 7, 2007 7:42 PM (in response to pinaev)as soon as you have some content out, it still sounds like non-valid html. What the ajax4jsf version do you use, BWT?

pinaev Mar 8, 2007 10:53 AM (in response to pinaev)I am presently using whatever I downloaded from the JBoss web site - ajax4jsf-1.1.0 and richfaces-3.0.0.

3. Re: com.sun.faces.saveStateFieldMarker
pinaev Mar 8, 2007 11:25 AM (in response to pinaev)I've figured that as soon as put this on a page, I get to see that message. The message may not show itself on the first visit to the tab, just switch between the tabs and then come back to the tab with the h:form.
<body> <f:view> <div id="container"> <rich:tabPanel width="100%" id="mainMenu" switchType="ajax" binding="#{mainMenuBean.tabPanel}" value="#{mainMenuBean.currentTab}"> <rich:tab label="Home"> <f:subview id="pageHome"> <jsp:include page="pageHome.jsp" /> </f:subview> </rich:tab> <rich:tab label="Contact Us"> <h:form id="formContactUs"> </h:form> </rich:tab> </rich:tabPanel> </div> </f:view> </body>
The backing bean is very simple, as in examples.
Thanks for your kind attention! -
4. Re: com.sun.faces.saveStateFieldMarker
sergeysmirnov Mar 8, 2007 2:38 PM (in response to pinaev)pageHome.jsp has no forms. right?
Do you have the same problem if <h:form id="formContactUs"> is outside the tabPanel ? -
5. Re: com.sun.faces.saveStateFieldMarker
pinaev Mar 8, 2007 5:52 PM (in response to pinaev)The message disappears as soon as the <h:form> tag is moved outside the tabPanel.
But, can't I have multiple forms on a page? Can't I have separate forms on each of the tabs?
Thanks! -
6. Re: com.sun.faces.saveStateFieldMarker
sergeysmirnov Mar 8, 2007 7:01 PM (in response to pinaev)Oh, sorry, I did not explain why I wanted to test it. We have an issue when h:form is a direct child of the rich component.
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-5
Even, your problem is not reproducible on my side (probably because of the different version of jsf), it can have the same source with RF-5 issue. So, return back to the form inside the tab, but wrap the form with h:panelGroup -

8. Re: com.sun.faces.saveStateFieldMarker
alexndr Aug 14, 2007 8:34 AM (in response to pinaev)I recently got this problem after upgarding from JSF RI 1.1_01 to 1.1_02.
I also use multiple forms in one tabpanel and as soon as I activate an Ajax component I get the saveStateFieldMarker-message at the bottom.
I'm using:
- Ajax4jsf1.1.1
- Richfaces3.0.1
- JSF RFI 1.1_02
Thanks

Sergey, I checked it and it doesn't help that you wrap the form in a panelGroup. -
11. Re: com.sun.faces.saveStateFieldMarker
alexndr Sep 13, 2007 11:48 AM (in response to pinaev).. and the new Richfaces 3.1.0 package did not solve the problem.
Can you try to reproduce the error please?
My code:<rich:tabPanel id="mytabpanel" styleClass="tabpanel" switchType="ajax"> <rich:tab label="mytab"> <h:form> <h:commandButton value="löklök" /> </h:form> </rich:tab> </rich:tabPanel>

alexndr Sep 20, 2007 9:49 AM (in response to pinaev)For your information. Upgrading to JSF 1.2 did the trick.
