1. Re: Multi-Homed Configuration passing wrong ip to Remote Cli
starksm64 Feb 1, 2005 2:30 PM (in response to xavierpayne2)Use the --host iface startup option to specify that all network interfaces should be using the given iface. The UDP bind_addr is only one piece of several layers when considering an ha lookup and access of an ejb.

aguillevick Feb 15, 2005 10:40 AM (in response to xavierpayne2)Hello,
I'm interesting in knowing how it worked :) I have the same problem (I posted also something on that subject. See http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=60168 ). However, the --host parameter didn't really solved my problem, as it seems to force all sockets to be attached to a specific network interface, it means UDP and clients ports. As a result, when I try to open a connection with my client hosted on a PC in the public network, no connection is possible.
Beside, when I use this parameter (--host), the standard shutdown command (jboss_init_redhat.sh) doesn't work properly. I have to "kill -15" the JBoss process.
Is there something I do wrong ?
Thank you, best regards.[/url]
