ModalPanel displaying empty white column on right side

Hello everybody,

I have come across some strange behaviour of the modalPanel component: Although width and height for the panel are properly defined and there even is a enclosing the panel, it still displays an empty white column on the right hand side of the panel, which is about half the size of the actual panel.

Any ideas what this could be caused by?

What does "Some text" mean?

Do you use facelets or JSF 1.2 ?

'Some text' means a rather long plain text interrupted by line breaks (). I have already tried out removing the text, but to no avail. I use the MyFaces implementation of JSF 1.2

Nice to hear that MyFaces has an implementation of JSF 1.2. Is it certified already?

What if you put something more JSFish there instead of plain html text. For example, <h:outputText value="Just a text" />

Using JSF tags at this position does not change anything about the behaviour described above. I have already tried out several variants: Plain text, JSF tags, no text at all.

FYI: The error was caused by a text-align: center directive for the body element.
I am pretty sure this is not a desired effect, so you might consider submitting it to your JIRA repository.

Frankly speaking, I do not image what do you have on your side as soon I have nothing even close to what you describe
