xiaoly Jun 16, 2006 10:23 AM (in response to xiaoly)In order to use http session replication, you have to do extra work on top of the cluster. I see the cluster is the base for other HA functionality.
If our app is not ready for http session replication, there is no use to use cluster, right? -

jerrygauth Jun 16, 2006 12:37 PM (in response to xiaoly)Clustering is useful if you have a need for any of the following when running your application on multiple servers: failover support, replication, load balancing of artifacts other than sessions (e.g., EJB's), true singletons, notifications, etc.
