turning replication off

Hello!

I try to make my application distibutable. I got lots of java.io.NotSerializableException. As far as it is concerned with JSF bindings, I have no possibility to make my java beans serializable.
Is it possible to have clustering without session replication (only load-balancing with mod_jk with application scope data replicated)?

You can certainly do load balancing without replication of session state; just don't add the "distributable" tag to web.xml. But, we currently don't have the ability to replicate application level state (ServletContext). There is a feature request for this at http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBCLUSTER-86; please feel free to vote for it.
