load balancing

I am using the load balancing available via the client proxy in our clustered environment. I am assuming that the FirstAvailable load balance policy (for the remote bean) provide server affinity. Is that right? Can someone confirm this?

Also, would it matter if my home bean is RoundRobin and my remote bean is FirstAvailable?

Yes, FirstAvailable is the one to use for session affinity.

It's fine to use RoundRobin for the home and FirstAvailable for the bean; that's the default for SFSBs.
