Active-Standby to Active-Active for receiving JMS Messages

Hello,
In a cluster of two nodes, JMS messages continue to be received by just one node. When the node is brought down, then the messages are received by the other node. Is there a way for both nodes to pick up the messages in some order? If yes, can someone please let me know where and how the order/sequence can be configured?

This was observed in JBoss 4.2.1. I am inquiring the context of load balancing - example: round robin approach to picking up the messages by each node.

and reading this -

The default implementation will only use other nodes if its own load is too high. Either of the List-based implementations can be used to get "round-robin" (perhaps "fair queueing" is a better term) distribution.
