Thanks for your answer! I have tried that before but the problem still occurs. It makes no different whether I use the JBoss or the Tomcat version of GateIn, both only work on localhost.

The following conditions:
OS for JBoss: Windows XP and Debian Linux (JDK 1.6 for both)
Client OS was always Windows XP / Browsers FireFox 3.5.3 and IE 8.0.6
First start JBoss with no option (localhost). Login as root or john, choose dashboard and klick on add gadgets. Add the calculator to the dashboard. You can see the portlet window with the calculater within. Log off and shutdown JBoss.
Start JBoss with option -b (in my case -b 10.10.10.111). Login as root or john and go to the dashboard. The portlet window of the calculator is still there but the window is empty - no calculator. The same happens with all gadgets.
I hope that informations are helpful for you.

mwringe Oct 21, 2009 1:37 PM (in response to marcanton)I have just tried this with the latest from svn head (which should basically be beta 2)
start server with default options, login as root, add gadget to dashboard, stop server
start server with -b option, login as root, go to dashboard and my gadget is available
does the issue still occur with the second beta?
is there any error messages in the logs? -

I have just downloaded Beta 2 and run a test. It works!! It was a bug in Beta 1
Thanks for the advice.
