Gadget UserPref support?

I'm primarily interested in GateIn as a Google Gadget/OpenSocial container.

I've created a simple gadget that uses the tag. One of the prefs is of datatype="bool" and a check box does not get rendered. Also, changing the preferences does not seem to be persisted or affect the gadget in any way. Are these features supposed to work?

Is there a source I can learn more about GateIn's support for Gadgets?

GateIn uses Shindig, an Apache project. You can look for their documentation

Hi,

today there is persistence for gadgets in the user dashboard and not yet when a gadget is dropped in a page from the composer. We are looking forward to add persistence in the other situation.
