starksm64 Aug 10, 2005 9:31 AM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)cvs access is not granted until you have contributed fixes/enhancements via patches using jira that demonstrate you understand the codebase, and testsuite.

toonstge Jan 12, 2006 6:37 AM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)Hi,
I'm working on a performance analysis tool in Java for JDK1.5.0 and was wondering whether JBoss still requires a performance analyis framework. I think I read somewhere sometime there was some work being done in that area.
I should like to investigate ways of collaborating with JBoss to develop some better (Jboss-specific?) requirements for this framework to increase the usability of it overall.
The project is here: http://patty.sourceforge.net.
(Future) features are listed. Current stage is alpha. Get the CVS sources to have a look at the features I'm planning to release end of this week ( alpha-1.0 ).
Let me know if there is any interest in this area.
Cheers,
Gerard -

clebert.suconic Jan 13, 2006 4:00 PM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)I'm in fact re-implementing our JVMPI module as JVMTI at this moment.
JVMPI already have a way to turn on / of. And I will be respecting that feature.
I will have a super class for Loggers, and it will be easy to decide wether to send data to a separate machine, or to log files.
It would be great to have your contributions... -

toonstge Jan 14, 2006 7:48 AM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)Hi,
I don't think I'd have time to contribute at this time, but I may decide otherwise in the future. All the sources are in CVS though and there may be some ideas or explanations in the comments that are useful for your own development. It's very widely commented in the native library, but windows-specific still at the moment.
Cheers,

ikoblik Jul 26, 2006 7:22 AM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)Hi all!
I work in a sowtware development company. And we currently are very interested in jBoss jBPM. But it has to be improved many ways before we can use it. So I'd like to be able to contributre. I read much info on how to gain committer access, but I didn't get it clear.
I've posted some sources, where I've partly tuckled problem of localization and also gave a russian localization(not full yet). This is the premier task that I've got to fullfill before going further. All that is under feature request "Localize GPD to other languages." (GPD-1)
So what else should I do gain access. It's written that what I've done has to be evaluated and approved, only after this I'll be able to request access.
Thanks in advance.

starksm64 Jul 26, 2006 11:55 AM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)Post to the "Design of JBoss jBPM" http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewforum&f=219.
In general you need to interact with the project to the point of the lead asking you to submit a contributor request to be granted access. -

jbynum Jun 8, 2007 2:09 PM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)I noticed a limitation in the RuleName*AgendaFilter classes and added a new class called RuleNameContainsAgendaFilter to address this need. How do I go about submitting this change?

jbynum Jun 11, 2007 9:23 AM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)The only thing I found was a link bringing me back here. It suggests requesting a task be opened for tracking purposes. Can someone open a task to create a new class that will filter rules based on a regular expression? I've called the class RuleNameRegexAgendaFilter and it's already written. I just need a little help submitting the contribution.

chbatey1985 Oct 29, 2007 5:30 PM (in response to ivelin.ivanov)I'd like to contribute.
I grabbed head off the anon svn server and tried to build it using the build/build.bat and got 53 errors relating to various errors with the OpenMBeanParameterInfoSupport class.
Any ideas?
