rimuhosting Aug 5, 2003 7:30 PM (in response to vbfischer)Well, since you don't seem do have gotten an impartial response, how about a partial one?
My company, http://rimuhosting.com, offers JBoss hosting. We specialize in VPS servers. Which means that you basically get root access (via SSH) to a Linux server and can install and configure whatever you need.
We have Jetty, Tomcat and Jetty/JBoss preinstalled and configured on our servers (see http://rimuhosting.com/support/jsphosting.jsp).
We use the jpackage.org distribution of JBoss, so our version is only at 3.0.6 (right now anyway). But there wouldn't be an issue with installing a newer (e.g. 3.2.2 rc). Other than perhaps having to hook up an /etc/rc.d/init.d script to stop/start the service.
FWIW, the http://rimuhosting.com website itself is running on Jetty/JBoss.

julien1 Oct 1, 2003 11:50 AM (in response to vbfischer)I have a VPS at jcentric, it's ok but I have issues to pay them. I paid the 2 first months and since then I have not been able to pay with my visa. They change their backend processing credit card and it refuses mines.
I may eventually consider to change.
