Forums lacking printing of topics

Why is printing of a topic in a forum not possible? This is *REALLY* annoying.

At least under Windows w/IE, I can just right click and select print and print any topic here. (just tried it).

Yes, I know, but to me the result is not acceptable, as the topic text is cut off.

What I would like is a print of the topic text only, without those annoying left and right banners, that just take up valuable space.
